CU Denver Veteran Connections

A Resource for Veteran Students, Faculty and Staff

Students make up by far the biggest segment of the community of military veterans at the University of Colorado Denver. However, many faculty and staff have likewise served our country in uniform, and are also part of this community.

Faculty and staff veterans at UCD have walked the same path student veterans are on now: making the transition from military to student life, navigating the academic bureaucracy, and making the transition from student life to professional career entry.

Those of us registered in the CU Denver Veteran Connections database stand ready to be a resource to you on your academic journey. We might be able to help with informal problem-solving or information gathering; or in some cases just to help reflect on what you’re going through now, and where you might want to go from here. In short, we can act as informal mentors to help guide you through the UCD landscape.

The purpose of the CU Denver Veteran Connections database is to help you find a faculty or staff member you might want to meet with for one of these purposes. It is searchable across a variety of fields, including schools and colleges.

Faculty and Staff:

If you are a military veteran or an immediate family member of one, and you wish to serve the student members of the UCD veterans community in this facilitative/informal mentor way, enter your contact information and military service profile. This is a valuable form of service to the UCD veterans community. Thank you for volunteering to provide it.
