Building partnerships with Saudi Arabia

Plastic surgery clinic opens

CU Plastic Surgery is a new clinic at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center focusing on cosmetic procedures (both surgical and non-surgical). The clinic was started by a group of surgeons in our department, led by Dr. Brooke French (pictured).

Barban family makes major gift to our department

Joe and Jean Barban were so moved by the care that Jean received when she needed a heart transplant that they made the gift of an endowed chair in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dave Fullerton elected STS President

Dr. David Fullerton, head of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery within our department, has been elected President of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, an organization representing over 6,800 surgeons, researchers and allied health care professionals worldwide.
