  • Dr. Sarah Parker and her antimicrobial stewardship team were chosen as this year’s Children’s Hospital Colorado Excellence in Quality and Patient Safety Award winner.
  • Dr. Marsha Anderson is beginning a two year term as the Chair of the Faculty and Professional Development Taskforce of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
  • Dr. Edwin Asturias was elected Vice-President of the Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition. He also, authored an OpEd editorial on “Measles Redux: the unnecessary epidemic” that was published in The Denver Post.
  • Sarah Parker, MD, was selected as the first ever Children's Hospital Colorado “Provider of the Month” for January 2015.
  • Adriana Weinberg, MD, was selected to become a member of the Women’s Inter-Network Health Scientific Committee for the NIH sponsored AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) and the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Group (IMPAACT).
