The Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect improves the care and well-being of all children by strengthening families, communities, and the systems that serve them. Highlights & News

We welcome Sasha Svendsen, MD to our Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program. The CAP fellowship is supported through the Wayne and Debra Berger CPT Fellowship Endowment established with Children's Hospital Colorado.

Sandeep Narang, MD, JD has been selected the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board to receive 2014-2015 Fulbright U.S. scholar grant.

Des Runyan, Executive Director of the Kempe Center, is pleased to present the Inaugural National Kempe Scientific Impact Award to Dr. David Finkelhor.

The Kempe Center is a recipient of the 2014 Academic Excellence Awards from the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA).

U.S. Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect - has suggested new child-centered community-based approach to child protection.
