The Department of Pediatrics Section of Adolescent Medicine provides the majority of its clinical services at Children's Hospital Colorado, in Aurora, Colorado. We currently have 10 full-time faculty members.

RESEARCH
Faculty focus on the major morbidity and mortality issues of this age group, including health services delivery, sexual health and disease, teenage pregnancy.  MORE »



HIGHLIGHTS & NEWS

  • David W. Kaplan, MD, MPH, was a keynote speaker for the Chinese Medical Doctor Association Society of Pediatrics, in Shanghi and Beijing in August, 2011
  • Dr. Kaplan was also a Moderator for the Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting in Denver, for the Adolescent Health Risk and Protection in May, 2011
  • Dr. Kaplan received the Career Teaching Scholars Award from the Department of Pediatrics, University of Colorado School of Medicine, in December, 2011
  • Paritosh Kaul, MD, became a member of the Academy of Medical Educators, University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2011
  • Dr. Kaul was nominated for the Golden Stethoscope Award, University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2012
