Sections and Programs are approved, organized units within the Department that are intended to foster clinical, educational, research, and a professional entrepreneurial advancements for dedicated areas of academic expertise.
Vision: To enhance the care of poisoned patient by training specialists in toxicology, investigating new treatment and assuring that patient care is guided by providers with specialized training.
The Section of Toxicology's website is under construction and will soon be available.
VISION: The Global Emergency Care Initiative (GECI) of the University of Colorado Department of Emergency Medicine strives to improve the emergency health outcomes in communities worldwide via leadership in sustainable and innovative education, service, research and advocacy.
GECI offers pragmatic courses in global health for healthcare providers in addition to our fellowship in global emergency care.
