The Human Touch 2019 is the twelfth annual anthology of poetry, prose, photography and graphic art from the Anschutz Medical Campus community at the University of Colorado. The publication is edited by Anschutz campus students, and is published under the auspices of the Arts and Humanities in Healthcare Program at the Center for Bioethics and Humanities. We are extremely fortunate and thankful for the support of an alumnus of the School of Medicine, for the ongoing support that he and his family have committed to support The Human Touch. Submissions from students, faculty, staff, alumni, patients and friends in our community are welcomed.
The Human Touch 2019 is available for free at the Fulginiti Pavilion and the Strauss Health Sciences Library Circulation Desk, or you can read The Human Touch online.
An exhibit of the visual art from the 2019 edition is on display in the foyer of the Fulginiti Pavilion through July 8th.
The soft-cover edition provides an opportunity for artists and writers to represent issues of health, illness, relationships and care through imaginative and inspirational materials such as poetry, prose, photography, visual arts and graphic stories. Audio and video submissions are also encouraged.
