Brand Identity Standards

Our brand is about much more than logos and advertising. It’s our reputation—formed by personal perceptions that are constantly being shaped by every interaction with our university.


How do we positively influence those perceptions, and grow our reputation? Through hard work, strategic thinking, serving our mission and ensuring that everything we say and do—how it sounds, looks and feels— is coherent, and accurately tells the story of who we are, what we do and why it matters.


This website is intended as a reference for applying a logical and consistent message, look, feel, voice and tone for all internal and external communications, interactions and operations at the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.


Maintaining brand coherence helps to build​, sustain and enhance our reputation – locally, nationally and throughout the world. Applied in a constant and thoughtful manner, this approach elevates the level of awareness, communication and impact for all university entities.
