Lynx Fire Relief

Many CU Denver students, faculty, and staff were impacted by the fires in Boulder County. Please consider providing relief for those in need.

We are collecting monetary donations through the Loving Lynx Emergency Fund to assist impacted students with financial hardship and physical donations of goods (food, hygiene products, supplies, etc.) at our drop-off location from

Loving Lynx Fund: Help When You Need It

Loving Lynx is an emergency funding resource available to CU Denver students dealing with unanticipated events including natural disasters, such as the Boulder County Fires.

Funds are distributed when a student is experiencing an unexpected financial hardship resulting from an emergency or crisis situation that threatens the student’s ability to successfully complete the current semester. Each application will be handled on a case-by-case basis, to be reviewed by the Loving Lynx committee.​

Note: Loving Lynx is temporarily lifting the aid exhaustion requirement for students impacted by the Boulder County wildfires.

Application Process

1. Submit the application
2. Inquiries and applications will be reviewed in a timely manner
3. Expect to hear from a committee member within two business days
4. Applications aren't processed on weekends or weekdays after 5 p.m.

Lynx Food Pantry Access

CU Denver students impacted by the Boulder County wildfires can make an appointment to access the Lynx Food Pantry with no point limitations (usually 10 points per week).

The Lynx Food Pantry provides access to a variety of food resources and hygiene products. Located on Level 3 of the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center.
