Accessing Accommodations

Getting Started


It is the students responsibility to initially seek out services. Unless you contact our office, no one will be aware of your needed accommodations when you enroll in school.

Easy 3-Step Process:

  1. Contact our office to arrange an intake appointment with one of our counselors.
  2. Bring appropriate documentation to the intake meeting.
  3. Meet with counselor to discuss how your disability impacts you in an educational setting, review documentation, and discuss reasonable accommodations.

It is recommended that you establish an ongoing relationship with your counselor to insure your needs are appropriately met. The students that tend to be more successful in this academic environment are the ones who utilize all the resources available to them.

When you meet with your counselor, it is in a private office and information pertaining to your discussions and documentation is confidential. Information will not be released without student consent.
