PDA Professional Development Award (PDA-PDA)

 

COVID-19 travel guidelines

Of note:

All domestic and international travel must be approved prior to booking a trip via Concur Request at o https://www.cu.edu/psc/training/booking-travel/requesting-approval-travel

No Outside Internet Airfare Bookings. All University-related travel must be booked either online through Concur Travel and Expense System or through a travel agent with CBT.


Currently, the PDA-PDA can be used towards reimbursement for professional development activity-related expenses (e.g., travel, workshop/conference/training registration fees) or childcare assistance during professional development activities.. If you are not sure whether your intended conference or workshop qualifies for the PDA-PDA, please contact the Award Committee at postdocassociation@ucdenver.edu.



Please read the instructions carefully. Applications that do not meet eligibility requirements will be disqualified.

Thank you for your interest in the PDA Professional Development Award. Please read all instructions and regarding deadlines, award amounts, eligibility, application tips, scoring, etc. before you start your application.

  • We encourage current postdoctoral fellows to apply for an award for a professional development opportunity taking place during the specified eligible time frames.
  • We hold 3 application cycles per year.
  • Individuals awarded a PDA Professional Development Award will have 30 days following the END of their professional development opportunity to submit for reimbursement. At this time, funds are NOT available prior to your event; funds are only available for reimbursement once your event has concluded.
  • Eligible professional development opportunities include, but are not limited to, conference attendance for presentation of research, conference attendance for networking and professional growth, clinical training events, in-person and virtual workshops and trainings (e.g., statistical methods workshops), and applications for childcare funds to assist with the ability to attend a professional development opportunity.
