Denver International Airport
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) operates the public transportation lines in and around Denver. The University offers an Eco Pass Progam, which allows employees to purchase an unlimited RTD pass for $25 a month.

Know Your Rights
Although all postdocs are guaranteed some leave for pregnancy, childbirth, or related conditions, the amount of time will vary based on your classification as either a trainee or employee.
If eligibility requirements are met, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides 12 weeks of unpaid leave for pregnancy, childbirth, and/or baby bonding, and allows employees to keep their health insurance.

Milk and Cookies
The Anschutz campus has a support group for new parents called Milk and Cookies. The group also offers travel grants to help with the expenses of child care while you are attending a conference or workshop.
Lactation spaces are available throughout the campus for breastfeeding parents. More information and a map of lactation spaces can be found here.
