PCR-360 Billing Project

OIT implemented a new billing system, PCR-360, in December 2021. The migration to PCR-360 included some minor changes in how we track and store data that should help reduce billing errors we have had in the past. In addition, the new billing system features two major changes:

  1. A new billing statement which will be based on feedback from some of our billing customers. In addition, we will continue sending the excel-based version of the statements. The new billing statement will be a balance between the new billing system requirements and input received through our outreach efforts. We are trying to keep the formatting and design like the existing statement to help ease the transition.
  2. Access to a customer portal where fiscal coordinators will have access to:

a. View active billable services in your department
b. View billing statements
c. Request the creation of ad hoc reports and run them
d. Request SpeedType changes
e. Request name changes
f. Request changes related to whether or not you receive emailed billing statements

You will still be able to submit these requests through the billing email (ucd-oit.billing@ucdenver.edu) if you choose. However, any request to add, change, or disconnect a service should continue to be made through the current processes and systems using the OIT Service Center.

How Coordinators (authorized departmental users for each SpeedType) will be selected

  • Fiscal Coordinators will continue to be selected from PeopleSoft. This group consists of:
    • Program/Project Principals for SpeedTypes
    • Program/Project Managers for SpeedTypes
    • Primary Fiscal Staff for SpeedTypes
    • Fiscal Staff for SpeedTypes
