|CU Denver Mental Health First Aid Training: is a skills-based training on assisting those with mental health and substance-use issues. The 9-hour training is led by qualified experts in the field of health and wellness and takes place at the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center.||Learn More about Mental Health First Aid Certification.|
|CU Anschutz Mental Health First Aid Training: Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. CU Denver: Request a training for your area, called Lynx Connected. This is a crisis de-escalation training offered by the Counseling Center.
|Navigate to this form. For Presentation, Training, or Workshop select “Other (type below).” In the please specify box type, Lynx Connected. The Lynx Connected training is more information than the You Can Help a Student training and less intense than the Mental Health and First Aid training.|

During NEO new employees will be exposed to university and state policies, benefits, university organizations, safety on-campus, along with much more. All new employees are expected to complete NEO within their first 31 days to comply with university expectations.
