Our affirmative action obligations include a responsibility to evaluate the effectiveness of our outreach efforts and a requirement that we retain records created during the search. One way we can do this is by taking some time at the end of a search process to determine whether we were successful in attracting a diverse applicant pool and considering diverse applicants for the position.
