To provide support for recognition of diversity and inclusion at CU Denver by providing the Brenda J. Allen Identity & Inclusion Scholarship and the Brenda J. Allen Award for Inclusive Leadership.
To provide support for the Latinx Student Services program in the Center for Identity and Inclusion at the University of Colorado Denver.
To provide undergraduate scholarship awards for students who are leaders contributing to the CU Denver Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community through campus and community organizations.
Need-based awards for CU Denver students who are not eligible for federal or state financial aid, graduated from a high school or received a GED within the United States. If the fund balance reaches $1M, the fund will be administered as a pure endowment.
Applicants with active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Advancing Students for a Stronger Economy Tomorrow (ASSET) status are particularly encouraged to apply and will receive preference.
