Since July 2016, Stephanie has served as the Assistive Technology Coordinator. She manages the assistive technology computer lab, located in our suite, and oversees our virtual computer lab support services. She provides assistive technology assessments and connects students with the appropriate technology-related accommodations including: books in digital format or enlarged print, captioning of video content, and conversion of academic content (power point presentations) to an accessible format.
Stephanie is also a member of the Auraria Library Accessibility Committee, providing support and training to library staff and patrons on accessibility and disability-related issues. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Education in Special Education, Concentration in Assistive Technology from George Mason University.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog, Mickey.
