2020-2021 Plan Information
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus offers health insurance through the UnitedHealthcare StudentResources Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan.
All students enrolled in a degree program and certain approved certificate programs, taking 1 or more credit hours are automatically enrolled in the student health insurance plan unless a waiver is submitted and approved by the stated deadline each semester.
Enrollment in the student health insurance plan takes place in the Fall and Spring semesters as well as Summer for newly enrolled students; there is no annual enrollment or waiver.
Your personal insurance must meet all the requirements stated under Enrolling or Waiving Health Insurance to be approved. Waiver requests must be submitted each semester before the stated deadlines.

The master policy on file at the university contains all the provisions, limitations, exclusions, and qualifications of the plans, which may not be included on the web pages. The master policy is the contract and will govern and control the payment of benefits.
