Learning Resources Center Join Our Team An Internationally Certified Training Program

Become a RISE Peer Mentor
or an iPrep facilitator!

What is RISE?

We are a program that has as a goal to support immigrant and English Language Learners at CU Denver. We provide students with one-on-one meetings in which they can talk about their academic needs. We connect students to campus resources, and facilitate workshops and presentations focused on the needs of Immigrant and ELL students.
We are currently hiring staff for two of our programs: RISE and Supplemental Learning. Interested? Fill out our application!

Intensive Preparation

I-Prep is a series of workshops occurring before school starts or right at the beginning of the semester. These workshops focus on different concepts and help students get refreshed with extra time to review and practice the content areas, so they can start the courses feeling confident about the course. There could be possibilities for further employment, or this can be a temporary job that has a positive impact on others and helps you save money for textbooks! Most of our I-Preps will be virtual.
