Affordable Housing Certificate Program Powered by Philanthropy
CU Denver announced the launch of a groundbreaking Affordable Housing Certificate Program, designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to address one of Colorado’s most pressing challenges: housing affordability. This innovative program is made possible through a generous gift from the Colorado Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), which supports the program’s development and implementation.
Thank you to everyone who supported the 2nd Annual CU Food Fight. During the month-long battle against hunger on campus, 359 donors contributed more than $49,240 to the CU Denver Food Pantry. Together, you made a real difference for students facing food insecurity—filling stomachs, lifting spirits, and fueling dreams.
Our Students are Exceptional
Our students juggle responsibilities as parents, caregivers, employees, and service men and women, and they balance these responsibilities with the demands on their time, talent, and resources that pursuing a university degree requires. This level of commitment is an excellent indication of how effective your investment in their futures will be. Explore a few fast facts that highlight who our students are and why your support matters.
CU Denver awards more than 1,200 degrees each year to first-generation students. These degrees open new trajectories of opportunity, not only for graduates but for their families and communities as well. Philanthropic support helps ensure these students have the resources they need to persist, graduate, and thrive.
CU TOGETHER
Students who benefit from philanthropic support at CU Denver always enjoy the opportunity to connect with and thank our generous community of donors. In November, the Puksta Scholars enjoyed a breakfast with leadership of the Puksta Foundation, John and NiChel Mulstay, campus leadership, and fellow recipients.
