Daily Attestation Update
Thanks to everyone for following campus safety protocols when visiting campus. We had 1,300 health check-ins on Monday, 1,100 on Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday, and more than 500 on Friday. We are continuing to refine the daily attestation process and some of the language may change to reflect current public health guidance.
COVID-19 Testing
There will be opportunities for more asymptomatic COVID-19 testing in the near future. Communications will go out to the campus community in September.
Student Study Spaces Update
There are approximately 420 work spaces available for students on campus. If you haven’t already, make sure to request an EMS account as soon as possible to start reserving spaces. Visit OIT’s Student Labs and Printing webpage for hours and locations.
- 69 centralized computer stations with drop-in and reservable options through the EMS scheduling system
- 56 centralized landing zones without computers
- 233 school/college computer seats.
Students who need more than three hours, which is the maximim time allowed at the reservable spaces, may use open public spaces, with safe distancing in place, at the atrium of the North Classroom Building and the Auraria Library .
Reminder: How to Get Your Student ID
If you are a new undergraduate student, you should have gotten your ID through New Student Orientation.
Everyone else will get their ID through the ID Station at the Tivoli. The ID Station is currently open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Reservations are recommended, although they will also accept walk-ins. The ID Station is hoping to be able to accept online photo submissions soon; check the ID Station website for up-to-date information.
Visiting Campus After Hours or on Weekends
You may come to campus after hours or on weekends if you have badge access to the building you are seeking to enter. Please complete the health attestation online before you come, and limit your
time on campus unless you have an approved unit return plan or research plan.
On-Campus Food and Drink
Some but not all of the food service providers on campus will be open during the fall semester. A map of campus food vendors and additional information is available on AHEC’s website, along with a list of microwave locations on campus. Qdoba in the Student Commons will open starting Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
