The Bursar’s Office can help you navigate any tuition and fee questions, provide information on receiving a refund generated by financial aid (including CARES Act funds), guide you through the payment options and processes (including third party sponsorships), and work with you on student debt management.

Look to the Career Center and Experiential Learning Center for help. They’ve compiled a resource list for you and are offering a variety of virtual services including recruitment events and guidance on how to interview & network virtually. Professional and student advisors from the Career Center, Experiential Learning Center, Study Abroad, and Undergraduate Research are just a phone call or video chat away. Academic advisors across the university are ready to serve you remotely. For undergraduates, visit the Undergraduate Academic Advising website and look for Remote Advising Details at the top of the page. Graduate students should work with their primary advisor or program director for remote advising options.
The Auraria Library’s COVID-19 website provides information on how to access online resources and how the library’s creative technology team can support you in navigating programs such as PowerPoint, iMovie, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. The library is waiving penalties for not returning physical items previously checked out.
Understanding the need for flexibility in grading due to the tumultuous events of this semester, CU Denver has adopted a modified grading policy option for any undergraduate or gradate course taken in the spring 2020 semester only. We hope that the more flexible option will give you the maximum opportunity for success.
The Writing Center is now fully remote, offering free workshops and online consultations. Make an appointment to get help on final papers and projects.
Get help with math questions and tutoring. The Math Education Resource Center offers the MERC Lab and Math Help Desk.

The Health Center at Auraria, located in the Plaza Building, serves all students, staff, and faculty on the Auraria campus and will remain open Monday – Friday until further notice. Check the website for updates to the schedule and services offered, including remote medical consultations for anyone who thinks they may be experiencing signs or symptoms of Coronavirus, and mental health consultations.
Your well-being is our top priority. CU Denver students currently facing unanticipated financial emergencies in general or as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, including accidents, medical or dental emergencies, and/or a need for temporary housing, may qualify for assistance from the Loving Lynx Fund. Check the website to see if your needs qualify, then complete the application. All student applicants will also be referred to community resources.
The Lynx Mobile Food Pantry is available 9 - 11 a.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of the month until the service is no longer needed. Pick up Food Bank of the Rockies premade boxes while supplies last at the Walnut Parking Lot on West 4th Street, across from the Lynx Crossing Residence Hall, formerly Campus Village. Take light rail to the Auraria West station or RTD to Auraria Parkway & 7th Street. Students are also welcome to visit other Food Bank of the Rockies mobile locations.

If your work hours have reduced, you may qualify for unemployment benefits. Take a look at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s Unemployment FAQ website to see if you qualify and how to apply. This is a benefit that only applies to U.S. citizens.
Phoenix Center at Auraria provides interpersonal violence resources and support to students, staff, and faculty from all of the Auraria Campus institutions who’ve been impacted by relationship violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking. The new Nod app is available for free on both iPhone and Android to help students stay connected and cope with the complex challenges they’re facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote learning, social isolation, and concerns about family, health, and finances are a lot to deal with. Turn to Nod for tips and tools.
