Disability-Related Access

Accessibility Arrangements

Graduates will be asked during the registration process to identify any disability-related accommodations that may be needed to participate fully in the commencement ceremony. There are ramps leading to the stage on both sides to accommodate wheelchairs and anyone who is unable to negotiate stairs. Sign language interpreters can be arranged as needed. Service animals (not emotional support animals) are permitted at the ceremony and must be pre-communicated during registration for planning purposes.

If you would like to speak with the commencement coordinator about accessibility arrangements for the ceremony, please email commencement@ucdenver.edu

Reserved seating is available for guests in wheelchairs as well as those who are hearing or vision impaired. A sign language interpreter will be present during the ceremony. Each graduate may request up to two (2) ADA tickets during the registration process for guests with disabilities. The ADA seating section is located to the right of the graduates as you are facing the stage. Ticket requests cannot be accommodated after commencement registration closes on November 1.

Service animals (not emotional support animals) are permitted at the ceremony.

If you have already registered and need to request ADA tickets, please email commencement@ucdenver.edu. Requests will be filled as space allows.
