A Great Tech Mentor

  • You want a mutual learning experience

  • You've used technology for telehealth, video-calling, shopping, navigating, etc.

  • You know older adults who want to improve their skills

  • You're a good listener

  • You can empathize

Older Adults and Technology

Twenty years ago, only 14% of adults over the age of 65 were internet users. Today that number has skyrocketed to well over 75%.

Despite this increase, there remain barriers for many older adults. As a tech mentor, you can help alleviate many of these barriers.

Older Adults & Mentoring

Mentor relationships with older adults are an opportunity for shared learning and growth.

Supporting an older adult with technology is an opportunity to form strong connections with the older adults in your community and develop skills that you can use in other aspects of your life.
