Jeffrey Bennett, MD, PhD

Jeffrey Bennett, MD, PhD, Associate Director of Basic/Translational Research

Dr. Bennett is responsible for developing interdepartmental and cross-programmatic efforts in basic and translational neuroscience research. This will include coordinated programs in clinical, basic science and bioengineering. He will be responsible for the management of the pilot grant program, scientific meetings and core facilities on the Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as coordinating research activities with CCTSI.

Sukumar Vijayaraghavan, PhD, Associate Director for the Neuroscience Graduate Program

Dr. Vijayaraghavan is responsible for fostering excellence in research in basic and translational neuroscience through education and training leading to the neuroscience Ph.D. He will be responsible for directing the Neuroscience Graduate Training Program including coordinating curriculum, obtaining training grant support and recruiting students.

Angie Ribera, PhD

Angie Ribera, PhD, Associate Director for Core Resources/Facilities

Dr. Ribera will be responsible for all efforts related to the core services managed by the Center for Neuroscience. She is the Principal Investigator of the existing NIH-funded P30 grant that provides support for the Rocky Mountain Neurologicial Disorders Center Core. The primary goal of the Rocky Mountain Neurological Disorders Center Core (RMNDC) is to provide resources that will allow neuroscientists on the Anschutz Medical Campus to incorporate transformative technologies into their research.
