PreHealth Day is an exciting CU Anschutz tradition where high school students, college students, recent graduates and advisors are invited to learn more about Health and Research Careers and the process to apply to those programs.
Due to restrictions on large gatherings expected in the fall, this year's event will be held virtually for the first time.
The day will begin with an interprofessional case study presentation where we will feature a medical situation and highlight how multiple medical and research disciplines come together to provide quality and thorough patient care.
This presentation will be followed by breakout sessions where you will have the opportunity to speak with a representative from your choice of our nine professional and translational research fields who can answer your questions about our programs and the admission and application process.
After a short meal break, an interactive student panel session where you'll learn about how to effectively transition from high school to college and from undergraduate to graduate studies.
Following PreHealth Day, registrants will be sent custom video resources on how to write application essays and personal statements and how to prepare for entrance exams (MCAT, GRE, etc.).
We are excited to have you learn about the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus!
