Update: COVID-19 and May commencement ceremonies
On March 18, Chancellor Elliman made the difficult decision to cancel in-person commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 21 and May 22, 2020.
While we know this news will be very disappointing, we feel it is a necessary step to help ensure the health and safety of our campus community, graduates, families and alumni. The CU Anschutz Medical Campus is strong because of its people - our students, faculty, staff, families and community members - and your health and well-being are our top priority.
In collaboration with the provost, deans and leadership of our schools and college, we have developed various options that will enable our community to celebrate the Class of 2020 CU Anschutz graduates. More information can be found below.
We look forward to celebrating our longstanding commencement traditions in innovative ways, and to welcoming our newest class of graduates into our alumni community with great pride, confidence and joy.
