Tanner Johnson

Tanner was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of Colorado Hospital. Tanner’s professional interest areas include infections in immunocompromised hosts, antimicrobial resistance, HIV, and student pharmacist development. In his free time, he enjoys watching Husker football, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his wife, Abigail. Tanner is thrilled to stay in the Aurora area and continue his PGY2 training at the University of Colorado Hospital and Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Upon completion of his PGY2 residency, he hopes to pursue a position as an infectious diseases clinical specialist.
