Kristen Kaiser, MA


Kristen Kaiser, MA is an Instructor and LEND Family Discipline Director with JFK Partners. As a LEND Faculty member, Kristen mentors trainees and participates in training multidisciplinary professionals in disability and the family experience. She has also been a part of a number of research studies, including as a Co-Investigator for the Colorado Parent Mentoring program, and as a Parent Liaison for the Parent Perspectives on Meaningful Outcomes of Early Intervention study, Facing Your Fears Telehealth study, and a grant that provided training and outreach to school teams in the Metro Denver area. Kristen helped create the Colorado Department of Education’s (CDE) Educational Identification of ASD Guidelines, and was a member of the Colorado Department of Education Autism Task Force for six years. She was also the Co-Chair of the Education Subcommittee for CO-CANDO. Kristen founded and co-facilitates the support group The Living Spectrum, with over 250 members in the Denver Metro area and beyond. The group provides emotional support, connections to community resources and guest speakers from the research and provider communities for mothers of a child with an autism spectrum disorder.
