John Adgate, PhD, MSPH

Professor and Chair

Dr. Adgate is an exposure scientist interested in the impact of chemical and nonchemical stressors on human health and disease development. His current research focuses on impacts stemming from energy development, the consequences of early chemical exposures on children’s health, and the influence of a changing climate on building and occupant health.

Research Interests:
  • Health impacts and sustainability of energy development
  • Chemical exposure and child health
  • Air pollution exposure and health
  • Climate and health
  • Air pollution risk assessment
