Department of Biostatistics & Informatics

Academic Advising

MPH, MS and PhD students are assigned a faculty advisor in the department. Students are advised to speak with their faculty advisor concerning course selection and completion of program requirements. If you are unsure who your advisor is, please contact your program director.

If you are a prospective student and are wondering which degree direction to take, please contact us so we can guide you in the right direction.

NOTE: Students interested in the MS or PHD in Biostatistics, or in MPH in Applied Biostatistics should take the Biostatistical Methods sequence (BIOS 6611/12), not the Applied Biostatistics sequence (BIOS 6601/02).
