Statement on July 16 DACA Ruling
July 16, 2021
Today a federal judge in Texas ruled DACA illegal and ordered the Department of Homeland Security to stop accepting new DACA applications (current DACA recipients are not affected). We at CU Denver continue to support all our students, regardless of documentation status, and we urge Congress to take action to allow all Dreamers (young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children and know no other home) to continue to work and study here.
