Statement on ICE Ruling for Student and Exchange Visitor Program

The University of Colorado Denver is well-positioned to accommodate the July 6, 2020 Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) requirement that F-1 students be enrolled in at least one in-person course in order to maintain lawful F-1 status and remain in the U.S. We look forward to welcoming our international students back to our campuses. They enrich our campus communities and enhance the diversity of the educational experience for all our students. CU Denver will welcome back students as a part of our Safe Return to Campus: Fall 2020. On-campus classes and flexible hybrid models are available, along with a full complement of online and remote course offerings. Graduate students enrolled in theses or dissertation credits will meet the in-person requirement.
