Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition

CIRC is a statewide, membership-based coalition of immigrant, faith, labor, youth, community, business and ally organizations founded in 2002 to improve the lives of immigrants  and refugees by making Colorado a more welcoming, immigrant-friendly state. CIRC achieves this mission through non-partisan civic engagement, public education, and advocating for workable, fair and humane immigration policies.

Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights

COLOR is a sisterhood of Latinas dedicated to building a movement of Latinas, their families and allies through leadership development, organizing and advocacy to create opportunity and achieve reproductive justice. 

Conservation Colorado Protegete: Our Air, Our Health

Protégete: Our Air, Our Health, a joint program of Conservation Colorado and League of Conservation Voters, is building a more powerful and influential voice for local Latino communities and Leaders in the fight against climate change by promoting clean energy for a healthy future for all Coloradans. 

Hispanic Access Foundation

Hispanic Access Foundation is a non profit organization that improves the lives of Hispanic in the United Sates and promotes civic engagement by educating, motivating an helping  them access trustworthy support systems. ​

Latino Community Foundation of Colorado

The mission of the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) is to influence and engage Latinos and others to be leaders and philanthropic investors to develop strong and vibrant latino communities in Colorado.

Latino Resources promotes Student Success through collet completion and active Civic Engagement through voter outreach. Our programs connect our community to bilingual networks providing access to resources, services and educational programs for college and career success.

Mission is to advance the economic success of families with limited opportunities, as an organization grounded in our Latino heritage. 

Mi Familia Vota

Mi Familia Vota is a national 501©(4) civic engagement organization that advocates on social and economic issues that impact the Latino community, from immigration to workers rights. 

PFLAG Denver

By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through: Support for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ. Education for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ. Advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are LGBTQ. 

Padres y Jovenes Unidos

Padres & Jovenes Unidos is a multi-issue organization led by people of color who work for educational equity, racial justice, immigrants rights and quality healthcare for all. 

Rose Community Foundation

Rose Community Foundation uses leadership, grant making and donor engagement to invest in strategic and innovative solutions to enduring problems and emerging issues.​

Servicios de la Raza's mission is to provide and advocate for culturally responsive, essential human services and opportunities.

Su Teatro's mission is to promote, produce, develop and preserve the cultural arts, heritage, and traditions of the Chicano/Latino community; to advance mutual respect for other cultures; and to establish avenues where all cultures may come together. ​

 Scholarships

The CU Denver Student Relief Fund is an opportunity to financially support undocumented (DACA/ASSET/Dreamer) students who cannot receive federal aid, have financial need, exemplified strong leadership in their community, demonstrate strong academic promise and are working hard to pursue their education. ​

The 2015 CO-HPD Program is now open! The CO-HPD Program is a year-long program with a one-month summer intensive experience designed to expose students to a wide variety of health careers. Applicants are not required to be a science major, but it is highly recommended that they have had previous exposure to science coursework before becoming CO-HPD Scholars. 


HSF General College Scholarships​

These scholarships are designed to assist students of all Hispanic hertiages to obtain a college degree. 


SACNAS 

SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists—from college students to professio​nals—to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science. Student travel scholarships available for conference. As you are planning your year, it's helpful to consider your path to graduate school. One step in that process is prepping for graduate school exams. A higher score can drastically help your application to a great school, and a better school can mean a better career down the road.
