Office of Institutional Planning

Campus Planning

Long range campus planning begins with the Campus Master Plan. The Master Plan is an outline for the physical development of the campus that is driven by the University’s Strategic Plan. Building and infrastructure projects that are undertaken by the University of Colorado Denver are derived from both the master plan and the strategic plan.

Program Plans are documents that are written for each building and infrastructure project. Program Plans establish the link between the project and the strategic and master plans, describe the goals and visions for the project, and lay the foundation for the design of the project. In some cases, Concept Plans are created for smaller projects or to establish the feasibility of larger projects before proceeding to the program plan phase.

The Office of Institutional Planning invites you to review the Master Plans, Program Plans, and Concept Plans contained in this section as well as campus history and facts for each campus site. If you need additional information or have any questions, please contact us
