 Transcend Auraria

‚ÄčThe purpose of this Social Justice Retreat‚Äč at the Auraria campus is to create a safe space for students of all backgrounds to deepen their exploration and understanding of issues related to diversity, inclusion, identity, power, privilege, and oppression. Given the context of several national, regional, and local events that have impacted our campus community, this retreat would provide a space for students to engage in conversations across differences in a deep and intentional way. Currently many conversations at Auraria are happening in isolated pockets in a variety of areas on campus, many of which are led by students. This tri-institutional experience would allow for students to engage in a shared experience that would provide them with an opprotunity for deep dialouge, reflection, and learning.
