UE Committees

Serving the Auraria Campus

There are a number of Undergraduate Experience Committees serving the Auraria campus, all striving to enhance student learning. Here you can find basic information about each of these groups.

Undergraduate Working Group (UWG):

The Undergraduate Working Group is a campus-wide forum for airing concerns and developing solutions to undergraduate-education-related issues, typically those that cross the boundaries between offices and/or academic units. You can find more information about UWG, here.

Undergraduate Council (UGC):

The Undergraduate Council is an academic body established to support all academic aspects of the undergraduate experience and to review new undergraduate degrees and programs. You can find more information about UGC, here.

First-Year Advisory Council (FYAC):

This newly-formed group, co-led by our office, Student Life, and the Lynx Center, brings faculty, staff, and current first-year students together to collaborate and improve upon all aspects of the first-year student experience, from admission to persistence to second year.  Current topics of discussion include campus housing, orientation and welcome activities, and diversity and inclusion workshops for faculty.

FYE Steering Committee:

The FYE Steering Committee, comprised of faculty and staff from Student Life, LRC, EOP, CLAS, CAP, SPA, Pre-Collegiate Programs, and Auraria Library, is the think tank behind the new transition-to-college course, College Success.
