Undergraduate Experiences

Welcome to the Office of Undergraduate Experiences!

Undergraduate Experiences strives to enhance student learning by providing access to high quality and innovative programs for all CU Denver undergraduate students. Undergraduate Experiences embraces the First-Year Experience, which supports academic excellence and student engagement during the culture transition from high school to the university environment. Undergraduate Experiences supports the recruitment and retention of undergraduate students across academic and student support units.


The Office of Undergraduate Experiences also hosts the annual Undergraduate Experiences Symposium.


 

The Experiential Learning Center

Experiential learning includes a variety of activities with one common goal—to immerse you in hands-on learning outside the classroom where your experience is at the heart of the learning process.

Reserve Officer Training Corps

The Air Force, Navy/Marines, and Army offer college students the opportunity to receive a commission as an officer through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.

University Honors and Leadership Program

University Honors and Leadership (UHL) is a program of excellence designed for motivated students who have demonstrated superior achievement in academic performance and/or outstanding leadership qualities.

Early Alert System

The Early Alert program is designed for faculty to identify students in the 5th-6th week of the semester who need assistance because of academic performance, class participation, and/or behavior issues.
