The student information system
The student information system (SIS) is where you can get:
- Class rosters
- Display option for enrolled/waitlisted students
- Student phone numbers
- E-mail addresses; e-mail a single student or the whole class
- Print or download a student file
Signing up for an account on SIS
Staff, faculty and students needing access to SIS must complete a request for system access (SIS).
The access request form must be completed for each person requesting access to SIS. It should be signed by you and your supervisor before being forwarded to the SIS coordinator for your campus. The speedtype and HRMS# are important fields that are frequently overlooked. Page three of the form contains instructions for completion of the form.
The SIS coordinator will review your request to determine which online screens and/or batch files are needed. The request form, if approved, will be forwarded to University Management Systems in Boulder for input into the system.
