Degree Audits

Assessing academic progress

A degree audit is a computer-generated record reflecting academic progress toward degree completion in a declared program. The degree audit uses CU Denver completed course work, CU Denver courses in progress, and transfer course work. The audit provides students and advisors a clear picture of courses that a student must complete for graduation.

The benefits of using a degree progress report include:

  • Tracking degree program requirements
  • Taking guesswork out of selecting courses by matching courses taken with degree requirements
  • Confirming how transfer course work will apply toward your degree requirements
  • Confirming approved course exceptions
  • Exploring other degree programs by using a 'what if' feature to match courses taken with those degree requirements
