CU DENVER ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY LAB (AT Lab)

The CU Denver Assistive Technology Lab (AT Lab) provides an accessible and welcoming space for CU Denver students registered with Disability Resources & Services. Students can utilize AT Lab services during regular office hours without making an appointment. 

Services may include the following based on approved accommodations:

  • Computer access on Windows and Mac
  • Printing and scanning, printing is currently available at no cost
  • Assistive technologies include:
               Read & Write by Texthelp
               Kurzweil 3000
               Fusion (ZoomText/JAWS)
               OpenBook/Pearl Scanning Camera
               CCTV (Topaz XL by Freedom Scientific)

  • ​Equipment & software loans include:
               Sonocent Audio Notetaker
               Livescribe Smartpens
               Tablets & laptops
               Assistive listening​ devices
  • Conversion of classroom materials include alternative textbook formats and video captioning
  • Assistive technology assessments & evaluations
  • Technology workshops
