The Scholarship Resource Office provides information about scholarships and offers guidance in the scholarship application process. There is a difference in the types of financial assistance available at the University, with the Scholarship Resource Office handling the scholarship process and the Office of Financial Aid completing the financial aid process for grants, loans and work study. Our office provides a scholarship overview of scholarship components, categories of scholarships, and
how to search for scholarships. We provide guidance and resources on how to write an effective essay and resume, tips on how to prepare an application and guidance on how to develop a scholarship tracking calendar. We hold periodic scholarship workshops and work individually with students as needed.
The majority of the University applications are through
an online application with a general due date of April 1st each year. There are exceptions to this which can be located on our online University Scholarship Guide for undergraduate students. Graduate University scholarship information can be located on the individual school or college website.
We maintain a database of University, regional and national scholarships, which is not inclusive, and a list of
additional scholarship resources for a more thorough search.
