Student Success Requirement:
1st year students:
Complete the Retention Passport. Meet with campus liaison to turn in the passport
2nd year students:
Complete a graduation plan and review it with your campus liaison to ensure you are on track to graduate within the time restraints of the scholarship and to have a clear goal in classes for future semesters.
3rd year students:
Visit the Experiential Learning Center, searching for volunteer and/or internship opportunity available and remember to get the signature sheet signed. Meet with campus liaison to address how the Scholarship Office can assist in moving students towards their goals. i.e. letters of recommendation, fellowships, National Scholarships, moral support, etc.
4th year students:
Visit either the Writing Center and/or the Career Center regarding resume writing. Submit a professional resume to the campus liaison to ensure you are prepared for job search after graduation.
5th year students:
Complete the certificate of Employability, a self-paced assessment online through the blackboard system. At the end of the modules there is a short 15 question quiz, when complete, go to the Career Center and print off your certificate of Employability and turn it into the campus liaison.
Transfer Students:
Transfer students are to complete the requirements of 1st and 2nd year students, to ensure you are familiar with the resources on campus and also to be sure to know what classes to take and what classes will count toward your degree at the University.
