New Scholar
As Denver Bound Scholars you are highly motivated students who have had a successful start to your academic career. Many of you have done amazing community service and leadership activities in your high school and community, and all are strong academically. You are all great assets to the University, and we wouldn't want your talents to be unused. There are many opportunities to stay involved at the University, so become involved. Ten volunteer hours are required each semester as a part of the scholarship.
There are various programs to assist you while on campus. These can be located on the front of the University web page under student services.
Please keep in mind that to stay on track for a timely graduation it is important you keep a graduation plan and track your progress each semester. The forms for this are located on the Denver Bound mentor webpage.
Each year there is a new group of Denver Bound Scholars entering the program. There will be opportunities to help mentor and interact with the new students.
Review the ‘Next Steps’ you should take as a new Denver Bound Scholar.
Never hesitate to contact Mary Francavilla with any questions, concerns, or just to talk.
