Financial Aid Information

For Parents

Welcome to the University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus! At the CU Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus, a majority of the financial aid information is communicated directly with our students. However, we know that parents are very involved in their students’ education so this section is to help keep parents informed of the financial aid process and requirements.

Apply for Financial Aid:

Expected Family Contribution (EFC)

The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is calculated from the information reported on the FAFSA. The FAFSA processor uses an EFC formula that includes income, assets, the number of persons in the household, and the number attending college for the award year in its calculation. The EFC is listed on the Student Aid Report (SAR) which can be viewed and printed from www.fafsa.gov.
