Your financial well-being depends on what you know and what you do. The University of Colorado Denver's K-12 Outreach Financial Literacy and Wellness Program's maintains a focus to simply to provide awareness, improve financial mindsets, and enhance personal and financial well-being for a lifetime.
This program also offers one-on-one personal appointments, a variety of presentations and on-line learning sources to enhance your efforts toward financial responsibility. If you learn to be financiwal responsible NOW, you'll graduate from high school and college with the necessary tools to make sound financial decisions.
National Standards in K-12 Personal Finance Education have been published by the National Jump$Start Coalition to guide classroom and developmental financial literacy education with helpful and valuable tools and materials for in a school or home setting with six main focal points: 1) Credit and Debt; 2) Spending and Saving; 3) Employment and Income; 4) Investing; 5) Risk Management and Insurance; and 6) Financial Decision Making.
