Total Indirect Costs:
Cost of Attendance
Your Cost of Attendance is an estimate of the expenses we anticipate you will have in your first year of school, and includes estimates of your direct and indirect costs. Your Cost of Attendance is not a bill, but a guide we use to determine the amount of aid to offer you.
Program & Course Fees:
Total Direct Costs
Direct Costs include items billed by the university, such as tuition, fees, and on-campus housing.
Books & Supplies:
Total Indirect Costs
Indirect Costs include expenses you may incur, such as books and supplies, off-campus housing, transportation, health, and personal expenses.
Gift aid includes grants and scholarships. Typically, these types of aid do not have to be repaid. Grants are often based on financial need, while scholarships are based on merit and may or may not be based on need. We determine your financial need by reviewing your Cost of Attendance and your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The estimation provided does not account for individual scholarships provided by each college. To learn more about gift aid, please visit www.ucdenver.edu/finaid/typesofaid
