Prior to calculating your estimated costs, please review the below information

  • The calculator provides an early approximation of what a new undergraduate first-year student enrolled full-time might expect to pay to attend CU Denver if they complete the financial aid application process by the CU Denver April 1 priority deadline.
  • To determine your eligibility for financial aid, please complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by visiting FAFSA.gov.
  • You do not need to log in or provide any personally identifying information to use the calculator, and your information will not be retained or transmitted to CU Denver in any way.
  • The calculator provides a good estimate of affordability, but is not a guarantee of aid and is not an application for financial aid. The aid estimate shall not be binding on the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, CU Denver, or the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
  • The estimated award is subject to the accuracy of the information you provide and may change if financial or other family characteristics change. It does not incorporate any special circumstances which can be reviewed after you officially apply for aid.
  • The CU Denver Financial Aid & Scholarships Office is the final authority for determining the family contribution and financial aid awards.
  • Net price is the difference between the estimated full cost of attendance minus grants and scholarships for which students may be eligible. Full price includes tuition and fees and costs such as housing and food, books and supplies, transportation, health and personal expenses.
