Student Loans

Financial Aid Office

To assist students with their cost of attendance, a majority of students will need to borrow student loans. Students can borrow student loans up to their cost of attendance. The cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, books/supplies, living allowance and health insurance. Any student loan that will cause your financial aid award to go beyond your cost of attendance will not be approved.

The CU Denver|Anschutz Financial Aid Office believes that a lack of financial resources should not be an obstacle to furthering one’s education. It is important that students and families have confidence in the financial assistance provided by CU Denver|Anschutz. The Student Loan Code of Conduct was created to ensure the highest ethical standards and to foster confidence in the Financial Aid Office. (The Code of Conduct document is being revised.)
