To apply for financial aid:
File your 2012 Federal Tax Return first, allow the IRS about 3 weeks to process your forms and then, complete your 2013-14 FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval tool. This tool is simple, easy and quick to use.
Complete the 2013-14 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- All students must have a Federal Student Aid PIN.
- In addition, one parent of a dependent student (as determined by the FAFSA) must have a Federal Student Aid PIN to sign the FAFSA electronically.
- Your PIN will be good for the number of years that you are applying for financial aid from your undergraduate to your graduate programs.
- Store your PIN in a secure location and do not share it with anyone.
TIP: Allow up to an hour to gather your information and complete the FAFSA.
Watch FAFSA - IRS Retrieval Steps to view step-by-step instructions for using the IRS Retrieval Tool. (Independent, Graduate and Professional students can skip to 1:39 for the student IRS Retrieval Tool instructions.)

Dental Medicine, Medicine, and Pharmacy students should submit the Need Access application to be considered for need-based financial aid.
