Anschutz Medical Campus Students Only

Institutional Loans - Title IV

Federal Title IV Institutional Loans are funds that have been provided by the U.S. Departments of Education to the University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus and awarded by the Financial Aid Office. Eligibility, terms and conditions vary by loan. Please refer to your promissory note or contact Student Debt Management for more information.

Students interested in applying for these Title IV loans, must completed the FAFSA.

Loan Award:

If you are awarded an institutional loan, you will accept your award by clicking on the Accept/Decline Awards button in ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess.

Use the Accept-Decline Financial Aid Award instructions to accept your award.

Federal Title VII Institutional Loans:

The Federal Title VII Institutional Loans are funds that have been provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

  • The loans have no origination or guarantee fees.
  • The interest rate is fixed at 5% for the life of the loan.
  • Interest shall start accruing 12 months after you graduate or cease to be enrolled full-time.
  • More information about the HHS Title VII aid is available at hrsa.gov/loanscholarships.

  • Students interested in applying for Title VII loans, must complete the FAFSA.
  • The Title VII aid application form is distributed to Dental, Medical and Pharmacy students in September.

Loan Award:

Selected recipients will be awarded and notification sent to their UCDenver e-mail account. If you have been awarded a Title VII award, you can view your award in Student Center by clicking the View Financial Aid link in ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess.
